Join us at Walton High School for an inside look at the selective college admissions process. During the Case Study Workshop, students, and their family members, will get the opportunity to review real college applications alongside a college admissions director.

Participants will get to experience firsthand what does and does not matter in the application review process at a selective university. The goal of the workshop is to help future college applicants better understand how their academic and extra-curricular choices in high school can help improve their chances of admission and how to navigate unexpected challenges that may arise throughout their high school experience.

During the workshop we will review and discuss:

-How high school class selection and course grades impact admission decisions

-How to best construct your activities resume to stand out in the admissions review process

-What can potentially cause red or “yellow” flags in the admissions review process

-Which college essays make a lasting impression

-What goes on behind the scenes in college admissions committees
